Amid the rush a fuel stations, the Telangana Civil Supplies department appealed to citizens to refrain from panic buying or hoarding fuel. Officials maintained that the State’s supply remains sufficient and is currently exceeding demand.

In Hyderabad, long queues outside petrol pumps were observed on Tuesday (April 28), as panic buying and rumours of fuel shortage led to a surge in demand across the city on the second consecutive day. Several outlets reported queues spilling onto main roads, with many residents lining up as early as 7 a.m., despite repeated assurances from authorities that fuel stocks remain adequate.
