Two dead, two injured in road accident in Nippani

Two people died and two were injured at the Sthavanidhi Ghat in Nippani of Belagavi district on Tuesday.

Thirtysix-year-old Munir Sohail and Vinay Patil of Kolhapur in Maharashtra died on the spot when a lorry hit their car from behind.

Two commuters were injured. The police admitted them to a hospital.

The police from Nippani rushed to the spot and removed the vehicle from the road. A case has been registered.
