Virat Kohli created a milestone in the match while chasing a target of mere 75 runs in the second innings.
Virat Kohli became the first batter to score 9,000 IPL runs in the history of the game. He achieved the record in the final ball of the power play as he took a single off the final ball against Mukesh Kumar. Kohli needed just 11 runs to achieve the phenomenal milestone on the night.

Virat Kohli has been in sensational form in the IPL 2026. He has been scoring runs in every match for the franchise, and his scoring 9,000 runs in the tournament comes for a single franchise, as he has played all 19 seasons for RCB since the beginning of 2008.
