The Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Wankhede, looking forward to chasing on a promising batting track. Deepak Chahar was up against Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the first over of the game.
As Vaibhav Sooryavanshi soon launched Deepak Chahar’s third ball of the over towards the mid-wicket boundary, Will Jacks, who was positioned in the deep, jumped high from over the ropes and took the catch. However, just when he realized he would fall over the ropes, he flicked the ball back into the field.
He saved five whole runs for his team and also denied Vaibhav Sooryavanshi his first six of the game.
