Behind them, Chopra retained wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan at No. 3, followed by captain Shreyas Iyer and left-hander Tilak Varma. The trio provides stability while also possessing the firepower to accelerate during the middle overs. His preferred XI also features Shivam Dube, whose power-hitting makes him a dangerous finisher. Chopra believes the batting order has enough depth to adapt to different match situations without compromising on attacking intent.

Chopra’s side includes Harsh Dubey as the primary all-round option, offering valuable left-arm spin along with useful lower-order batting. The former opener also discussed the final bowling spot, suggesting multiple combinations depending on the team management’s strategy.
“If you play Suryansh Shedge, Ravi Bishnoi could be your 11th player. If you play Harsh at No. 7 and Ravi at No. 8, you will have a place left for a fast bowler, where you can choose either Yash Thakur or Ashok Sharma. Yash Thakur has done a little more in First-class cricket. So you might go towards him, but if you have to unleash raw pace, then go with Ashok Sharma,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.
His bowling attack otherwise remains unchanged, featuring express pacer Mayank Yadav, Prince Yadav and leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi. Chopra believes the combination offers a healthy mix of pace, spin and wicket-taking options, with the final pace-bowling slot depending on the balance India want to achieve.
