The Delhi Capitals needed to start well with the ball; rather, they needed to replicate something that Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood did for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, with none of the premier pacers playing, they have looked like minnows to the RCB batters.
RCB opener Jacob Bethell gave the momentum needed to the RCB innings after a scary first-innings display from the Delhi Capitals in the IPL clash between RCB and DC. He hit a humongous hit, which traveled out of the park.

When RCB needed just 76 runs to win their 12 points of the season and extend their lead over the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Rajasthan Royals in a considerable manner, young opener Bethell, who replaced Phil Salt at the top of the order, gave them a stellar start.
Though he did not add many runs, he handed the confidence to the RCB batters with two humongous hits, which were much needed after a dismal outing for the DC batters. He hit the second six off Kyle Jamieson in the third over, which travelled way out of the park.
The hit was a colossal six, which traveled for 104 m and was deposited on the roof of the stadium. This was what set the tone for a comfortable victory for the Royal Challengers.
