Will Ishan Kishan Marry Aditi Hundia? Mother Reacts

Date:

Indian cricket team wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan grabbed the headlines with a brilliant match-winning knock against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2026. The left-handed hitter scored 77 runs in only 40 balls, leading India to a decisive win in the game. The knock earned him praise from fans as well as experts and even his family members took to express their opinion on his performance. However, amidst all the focus on cricket, an off-topic comment by Ishan Kishan’s grandfather regarding his relationship with model Aditi Hundia, led to India fans speculating whether a wedding was on the cards in near future. However, his mother Suchitra Devi has stated that the rumours are untrue and that this is a time for him to focus on the game.

“It’s not about marriage, it is time for him to play cricket. He is too young to even consider marriage. Grandpa is a bit old. Old people are always a little disturbed. Something or the other is coming on social media. He said all this by watching social media,” she told IANS.

Earlier, Kishan’s grandfather, Anurag Pandey, confirmed that his grandson is currently dating model Aditi Hundia. He even went on to say that he does not have any issues if they want to get married.

Whomever Ishan chooses to marry, I wholeheartedly accept. Whoever Ishan Kishan chooses to marry, we are ready to accept. Aditi is the girlfriend. She is a model by profession. One should accept what gives happiness to children,” he said to ANI.

After Kishan’s stunning display against Pakistan, Kishan said that his Player-of-the-match award is for all the Indian fans and the whole team and not just for himself.

Kishan said that he kept it simple and treated the game against Pakistan as just another game, watching the ball and playing his shots after assessing the wicket and target. He experienced no panic and attributed confidence to his teammates, but he added that his work was not complete and that he would like to forget this match and focus on the next one.

Ishan’s dream run in T20’s continued as he breezed past the Pakistan spin ploy, slamming his second successive T20 WC Fifty and guiding a clinical India 61-run win at Colombo on Sunday, while pulling off some phenomenal work behind the stumps as well – including a stumping to remove a dangerous oppositions Usman Khan, who was slowly counter attacking against Indian bowlers.
