Albie Morkel has been appointed head coach of Joburg Super Kings for SA20 season 5. Across 319 T20 matches, he scored over 4,000 runs and claimed nearly 250 wickets, establishing himself as one of the format’s prominent all-rounders. Most recently, Morkel served as a consultant coach with the South African team at the 2026 T20 World Cup, where South Africa reached the semi-finals.
