The duo allegedly routed Rs 2.5 crore of the stolen funds through the bank account of Hexaquest Global Pvt Ltd, subsequently transferring the money to multiple accomplice accounts to obscure the financial trail.Forensic examination of digital devices seized from the duo revealed their broader involvement in managing mule accounts and utilising malicious APK files to siphon off funds generated through various cyber frauds. CBI also recovered incriminating chats, banking documents, and account records that are being analysed to expose the syndicate’s wider technological infrastructure and apprehend remaining members.
