
CBSE Class X Second Board Exam results declared. File

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the Class 10 Second Board Exams, which were held from 15th May to 21st May 2026. The results can be accessed through the students’ DigiLocker Results Portal (results.digilocker.gov.in)
A total of 6,63,777 candidates appeared for the exam. Of the 5,13,955 students who appeared for improvement, 59.95% of candidates improved their scores. 1,49,822 students appeared for the compartment exam, and 52.40% of them passed the exam. The combined pass percentage of both the exams together was 96.78%.
CBSE has stated that the school-wise results would be communicated to their registered email IDs. They can also access the digital academic documents of their students through the repository using the credentials already provided by CBSE.
In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE has introduced two Board Examinations for Class X from 2026. The Main Board Examination was conducted from 17th February to 11th March 2026. The second board exams were conducted to provide eligible students of the Main Board exam an opportunity to improve their scores. The best scores from the two exams would be considered for the preparation of the final results.
