Cocktail 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s Cocktail 2 is eyeing the Rs 100 crore mark.
Cocktail 2 Box Office Collection Day 5 Highlights: After an impressive opening weekend, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna’s Cocktail 2 is showing signs of slowing down at the Indian box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that Cocktail 2 continued its impressive box office run on Tuesday, and shared that the film is now targeting a Week 1 total of around Rs 73 crore net, depending on its performance over Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the official figures, the film collected Rs 14.10 crore on Friday, Rs 17.15 crore on Saturday, Rs 18.85 crore on Sunday, Rs 6.90 crore on Monday and Rs 7.35 crore on Tuesday, taking its total India net collection to Rs 64.35 crore.

Trade analyst Sumit Kadel revealed that Cocktail 2 has amassed a worldwide gross collection of Rs 106.61 crore in just five days, cementing its status as one of the biggest box office successes of the year.
While weekday numbers are naturally lower than the weekend haul, Cocktail 2 remains one of the strongest-performing Hindi releases currently in theatres. The film has also fared considerably better than several recent releases, including Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga, Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past and the Hollywood horror film Obsession.

The coming weeks will be crucial for the film as it faces fresh competition at the box office. Akshay Kumar’s Welcome to the Jungle is set to arrive in cinemas on June 26, followed by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha on July 3. Industry observers will be watching closely to see whether Cocktail 2 can sustain its momentum amid the high-profile releases.
Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Cocktail. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles and has drawn audiences with its blend of romance, drama and contemporary relationships.
Reviewing the film for SCREEN, critic Shubhra Gupta wrote, “There’s no getting past the conservatism which comes wrapped in this pyaar ka punchnama: for all its modern vibe, it’s the guy who gets the last word.”

Welcome to the Jungle Movie Review and Release LIVE Updates: ‘It’s a pure, unapologetic entertainer’
User @FilmiHindustani tweeted, “Finally watched #welcometothejungle in its entirety. The film arrives with a clear promise: Leave logic at home.. switch off your brain.. and enjoy the madness. Going by that promise, IT LARGELY DELIVERS. The moment the plot expects you to believe that a film crew can secretly cross the border, enter Aazadganj (a fictional village) under terrorist control… and shoot a big budget film with a massive cast and crew in a military attire with weapons without ever appearing on any radar, you instantly realize that #welcometothejungle isn’t aiming for realism. It’s a pure, UNAPOLOGETIC entertainer that wants you to switch off your brain and simply enjoy the ride. The sequence around 20 minutes before the interval is easily one of the funniest stretches in the film. The interaction between #akshaykumar and #raveenatandon, especially the eye-contact moments, is genuinely hilarious. Post-interval, the film picks up pace. Kiran Ji’s Urdu alfaz dialogues, Farida Jalal ji’s eccentric way of speaking, Johnny Lever’s mute expressions and communication.. and the cast’s wonderfully over the top reactions generated plenty of laughs in the theatre. The audience seemed to enjoy these moments throughout. Shreyas Talpade playing a cameraman who can’t see, Jackie Shroff appearing as a ruthless terrorist yet still managing to generate laughs, and the iconic duo of Arshad Warsi and Suniel Shetty carrying forward the spirit and legacy of #welcome (2007). And the superstar #akshaykumar once again proves why he’s one of the finest comic actors of his generation and now in Gen-Z. What’s particularly impressive is… despite the crowded cast, the film makes room for almost everyone to leave an impression, adding to the chaotic and entertaining energy that defines film. The mid first half portions, which mainly function as a buildup, and the AI-related scenes not landing as effectively as intended are areas some viewers may debate. One interesting experiment is the placement of a song right at the interval point.. something rarely seen in mainstream commercial entertainers. Overall.. #welcometothejungle succeeds in its primary objective: Making the audience laugh and have a fun time.”
Welcome to the Jungle Movie Review and Release LIVE Updates: ‘A non-stop laugh riot’
User @SAMTHEBESTEST_’s post on X read, “#welcometothejungle Review: HILARIOUS, BLOCKBUSTER ENTERTAINER!RATING 4/5. #welcome3 is a non-stop laugh riot with #akshaykumar leading the charge with #arshadwarsi #sunielshetty #pareshrawal #johnylever and #rajpalyadav in super strong roles. It’s an adventure loaded with crazy moments and meta refences from #dhurandhar #sholay #jawan #bajrangibhaijaan and countless other movies. This is a slapstick comedy with every moment being a Parody of a classic and making meme out of it. You have seen #welcome (2007), but reliving it in new style and chaos is what this one offers. The entire ensemble #dishapatani #jacquelinefernandez #jackieshroff #shreyastalpade #raveenatandon and others have had a BLAST, making this one a perfect family entertainer loaded with action, drama, PJs and comical humour. The film is shot in a grand scale, the music is full of variety, the cinematography is fine and locations are good. Ahmed Khan makes an unapologetic comedy that requires you to come without any baggage. Go, have fun for 2 and a half hours and just relax.”
