Former Chief Justice of Manipur High Court D. Krishnakumar appointed Chairman of T.N. Law Commission

The Tamil Nadu government has reconstituted the State Law Commission and appointed Justice D. Krishnakumar, former Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court, as its Chairman.

A Government Order to this effect was issued by the Law Department. Justice R.M.T. Teekaa Raman, former judge of the Madras High Court; T.K. Ramachandran, former Additional Chief Secretary; and A. Arunagiri, former Secretary, Law Department, have been appointed as full-time members.

P. Mohan Doss and R. Govindarajan, both former District Judges, have been appointed as part-time members. An officer in the cadre of Secretary, Law Department, will be the full-time Member Secretary.

The term of office of the Chairman, full-time members and part-time members will be three years from the date of assumption of charge by the Chairman.
