Phil Salt falls for a low score vs SRH in IPL 2026
The English batter Phil Salt has not been in his best form for a while. However, it was expected that things would change in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 when he dons the RCB jersey and plays on the batting-friendly surfaces.

Phil Salt also received a big confidence boost after the way he fielded in the first innings, as he took three brilliant catches to dismiss Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen, and Ishan Kishan.
But Phil Salt was unable to replicate his heroics in the second innings and fell for a low score. On the first ball of the second over, he fell for 7-ball 8 off Jaydev Unadkat.
Unadkat bowled a length delivery outside off-stump to Phil Salt, who took an aerial route by swinging hard, but he miscued it towards mid-off. Heinrich Klaasen called for the catch and charged forward to grab it, but at the same time, Salil Arora charged across from cover.
There was a small collision between the duo, which left Heinrich Klaasen angry, but thankfully it didn’t cost SRH big as the South African was able to complete the catch. As the camera panned towards Anushka Sharma after the catch, she looked quite dejected.
