India A To Face Australia A In Two Four-Day Matches

Puducherry gets ready for top-level cricket when India A welcomes Australia A later this year. Starting just after mid-September, a pair of four-day matches plus three limited-overs fixtures fill the calendar. These games form part of a broader plan made public by the BCCI on a recent weekday. Young players from both nations step into spotlight during this shadow tour format. While U-19 squads have their own assignments lined up, attention leans toward the men’s A-team showdown. Dates stretch all the way to early October, wrapping up around the eleventh. Women’s development circuits also feature across the announcement, though less noise surrounds those plans. This series stands out simply because it mimics full international rhythm without official status. Every session unfolds at venues within that coastal union territory. Preparation meets opportunity once late monsoon clears.

Starting September 22, an informal Test match takes place, running through the 25th. Next up, another Test begins on the 29th of September, wrapping up October 2. One-day matches – three in total – are set for October 6, then again on the 9th, followed by the last on the 11th.

Starting October 16, Zimbabwe’s women play six white-ball matches across nearly two weeks. Running through the 28th, their tour includes three WT20Is followed by three WODIs. These games unfold in stages, one after another under changing skies.

The WT20I matches take place in Raipur while three List A games are played in Baroda

Out of nowhere, the young Indian squad prepares to face Australia’s under-19s. Three matches set for fifty overs each kick things off in Rajkot. Following those, play shifts toward longer formats – two four-day fixtures lined up across Rajkot again, then one in Ahmedabad. The visitors arrive ready, expected to push through tough conditions. Every game counts, though results aren’t everything here. Development takes center stage behind closed doors. Local pitches may behave unpredictably come match time. Coaches watch closely, tracking small details others might miss.

Starting September 18, it runs through October 5. That stretch marks the full window for the lineup. Each day in between holds a slot for episodes. The finish line lands on October fifth without delay. No breaks appear along the timeline drawn so far.

A series of matches stands set for the India A women, facing Australia A women first, then England A women right after. The lineup fills every available slot, making it their busiest stretch yet.

White ball cricket fills half of each tour – six matches split into three T20s and three one-day contests. Alongside those, a four-day game mimics a Test, though it won’t count on official records.

Starting September 12, games unfold across Mohali then shift to Dharamsala by late season. Matches wrap up on October 2 under clear skies or rain delays. This stretch marks a stopover for rising athletes before bigger stages appear. Locations swap halfway through, keeping travel patterns uneven. Dates stay fixed despite shifting grounds and player rotations.

From November 30 through December 22, matches featuring England’s female A squad take place.
