A ground-breaking ceremony was held on the Fairplex Grounds at Pomona, about 50 km from Los Angeles, California, for the construction of a cricket stadium marking the game’s return to the Olympics in LA28 after 128 years.
The venue, also known as the Knight Riders Cricket Ground, is set to host seven matches, including Los Angeles Knight Riders’ first three home fixtures, of the 2026 Major League Cricket (MLC) season from July 1 to 5.
