RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday (August 6, 2026) said protest is a way of dialogue at a gathering of Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
In a democracy, protest is a way of reaching consensus, the RSS chief said. Mr. Bhagwat was attending a youth conference organised by IIMUN, interacting with Gen Z and Gen Alpha participants.
As far as Gen Z is concerned and what happened recently, their grievance is genuine. Today’s generation wants logical answers, he said.
“When my age was that of today’s Gen Z, our generation used to listen to what the elders said,” Mr. Bhagwat said.
