A few days ago a leaked image gave us our first look at Samsung’s next foldable smartphone, the W27. This will be launching in China on October 29, as the latest member of the W series. The W devices are basically fancier China-only versions of the company’s latest Z series book-style foldable. So this year, the W27 will be a Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in a dark blue trim with gold accents.

Legendary leaker Evan Blass has today shared some new renders of the upcoming device, which, as you can see below, portray it in a variety of angles.

The handset has the same camera island setup as the Galaxy Z Fold8, unsurprisingly, but adds the W series’ signature gold logo on the back near the bottom. According to previous rumors, the W27 will be identical, spec-wise, to the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. It will most likely be offered in just one configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, if we go by what happened in the past.
The price will definitely be high, since this is a premium version of an already expensive device, and we should also factor in the top-tier RAM and storage amounts. Anyway, all will be revealed in just a few days, so stay tuned.
