Netherlands – who registered their first ever women’s T20I victory over Bangladesh last week – got off to a flying start, thanks to Heather Siegers (21 off 15) and Babette de Leede (30 off 14). The pair added 53 runs off 28 balls for the opening wicket but Fariha Trishna‘s double strike in the fifth over dented Netherlands’ chase. Robine Rijke chipped in with a cameo of 21, however, Ritu Moni struck twice in the eighth over to restrict Netherlands to 85 for 5.
