TVK president and Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Friday (September 25, 2026) appointed former AIADMK Ministers who had in recent months joined the TVK as deputy general secretaries of the party.
Former AIADMK Ministers M.S.M. Anandan, M.C. Sampath, Udumalai K. Radhakrishnan, K.V. Ramalingam, M. Anandan, Kadambur C. Raju, K.T. Pachaimal, Vellamandi N. Natarajan, N.R. Sivapathy, S.S. Vaigai Selvan, and S. Valarmathi were appointed deputy general secretaries.
Further, J. Sundeep Anand, son of DMK MP S. Jagathratchakan; K.G. Muthu Venkateshwaran, Thollamur Kannan, and V.C.R. Kumaran were also appointed as deputy general secretaries. Former MP C. Mahendran, who had also served as an MLA, has been appointed Tiruppur suburban district secretary.
Some other former AIADMK Ministers and former MLAs who had joined the TVK, including C. Vijayabaskar and M.R. Vijayabaskar, had already been given party posts.
