Two individuals were arrested by the Balapur Police in connection with the murder of a 29-year-old man who was stabbed in Kothapet earlier this week. Police alleged the killing was the result of a financial dispute and personal enmity.
The accused were identified as 21-year-old Sayeed Bin Faisal Baom, a real estate businessman from Kothapet in Balapur mandal, and 20-year-old Salman Bin Abdul Raheem Baom alias Salam Baom, a student from Bandlaguda in Hyderabad.
According to police, the victim, 29-year-old Fahad Bin Abdul Rahman Balkhashar, sustained a fatal knife injury near Madina Plastic Godown in Mariyam Colony, Kothapet, at around 2.40 a.m. on July 6. He was shifted to Owaisi Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police seized the knife allegedly used in the murder along with two smartphones belonging to the accused. The accused were produced before the local court in L.B. Nagar and were remanded to judicial custody. Further investigation is underway.
