He praised director Aditya Dhar and lead actor Ranveer Singh before saying that this was his best ‘cinematic experience’. “Saw the film today and dare I say that I’ve never ever seen a cinematic experience like this made in India. It brought out every kind of emotion to the surface and I didn’t flinch once for almost 4 hours. @adityadharfilms your talent and conviction is reflected in what you’ve created. Hats off to you. You’re a genius. And although all actors were great in their roles BUT @ranveersingh you have attained a different level after this movie and your performance was beyond brilliant. Absolutely WOW,” he posted on his Instagram story.
Worldwide, Dhurandhar 2 pulled in Rs 1622 crore gross – Jio Studios tallied it after fourteen days plus three weekends. Gross numbers came together slowly, yet they added up fast under studio tracking.
April 6 marks the point when overseas earnings hit Rs 394 crore, according to Jio Studios. Domestic gross reaches Rs 1228 crore, though net revenue settles at Rs 1041 crore.
By the 18th day, ticket sales for Dhurandhar: The Revenge reached Rs 28.75 crore through screenings at 14,229 locations nationwide.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge kicked off its run at cinemas, pulling in Rs 102.55 crore by March 19 – a solid start fueled by the long weekend. Box office numbers began strong, helped along by extra days off work and school drawing bigger crowds.
On March 20, the figures came together at Rs 80.72 crore; a day later, it was Rs 113 crore doing the same thing. That shift happened just once more under similar timing.
Filmscreenings across India hit 21,633 on March 22 while earnings reached Rs 114.85 crore. Though numbers climbed quickly, box office reports confirmed the total by evening.
By March 23, the opening Monday after the movie came out, earnings had fallen to Rs 65 crore.
A sudden jump marked Monday, with numbers holding steady near forty crores by midweek. Then came a shift – closer to sixty – by Friday. Weekend energy pushed it further, though totals stayed within that early frame. Not much changed, just movement inside the same walls.
Opening just before its official release, the movie pulled in Rs 43 crore by March 18 through advance screenings.
