Dwayne Bravo nails a yorker to dismiss Ben Hilfenhaus

Bravo targeted the off stump with a full delivery that dipped towards the batter’s feet. Hilfenhaus came down the crease in an attempt to counter the delivery, but he failed to get his bat down in time as the ball sneaked past him and crashed into the stumps.

The dismissal highlighted Bravo’s experience and precision, as he gave Hilfenhaus almost no opportunity to adjust to the delivery. Hilfenhaus was bowled at 9.2 overs, adding another wicket to West Indies Champions’ tally as they looked to restrict Australia to a manageable total.

However, Sheldon Cottrell picked up three wickets, with Fidel Edwards and Raymon Reifer taking two each as Australia were dismissed for 119 in 16.2 overs.

Hilfenhaus then made a decisive impact during the chase, dismissing Chris Gayle and Chadwick Walton for ducks in successive overs. He finished with figures of 3/13, while Fawad Ahmed also claimed three wickets to keep the West Indies batting lineup under pressure.

Carlos Brathwaite briefly threatened to turn the chase around with a rapid 25 off nine balls, but Australia kept taking wickets. The result highlighted Hilfenhaus’s match-winning contribution, while Bravo’s accurate yorker remained one of the memorable moments from the contest.
