Over 1,000 Cyberabad traffic police personnel attend free lung, vascular health camp

More than 1,000 traffic police personnel in Cyberabad participated in a free Pulmonology and Vascular Health Screening Camp organised by Yashoda Hospitals on Thursday. The camp was organised in collaboration with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), Cyberabad Police and Traffic Police.

The camp was aimed at promoting preventive healthcare, early diagnosis and awareness of respiratory and vascular health issues among traffic police personnel, who work regularly in challenging weather and environmental conditions.

As part of the programme, police personnel underwent specialised screenings for pulmonary and vascular health and received medical consultations and guidance from specialists. Medical experts stressed the importance of regular health check-ups to identify potential health concerns early and enable timely medical intervention.

Cyberabad Commissioner of Police and SCSC Chairman M. Ramesh, highlighted the demanding nature of traffic police duties and said regular health screenings could help detect health issues at an early stage and support timely treatment.

Yashoda Hospitals Managing Director Dr G. S. Rao said traffic police personnel work in challenging environmental conditions while serving the public and stressed the need for regular screening and timely medical guidance.
