BJP Tamil Nadu president Nainar Nagenthran on Monday alleged that the DMK government had “naturalised people to crimes”, claiming that law and order in Tamil Nadu had deteriorated.
In a post on X, he referred to the killing of two persons, including a 17-year-old boy, by unidentified persons in Tirusulam in Chennai and said violent incidents had become routine in the State.
Mr. Nagenthran claimed that murders, robberies, sexual assaults, and machete attacks had become everyday occurrences in the past five years, and such incidents no longer shocked the public. He added that people in Tamil Nadu were now waiting for the election to “end the present regime and restore peace in the State.”
