Elderly couple assaulted after neighbour’s dog dies

An elderly couple have complained that their neighbours assaulted them accusing them of killing their pet dog in Belagavi on Saturday.

Shanta Rajayi and Bhairu Rajayi approached the Police Commissioner’s office saying that they were hospitalised after suffering fractures at the hands of their neighbour Sugandha Lad and her son Nandu Lad.

They said they had nothing to do with the death of their neighbour’s dog. A complaint has been registered.
