But it actually happened.The incident took place on April 12 during the final of the MLA Trophy cricket tournament in Dharangaon (over 400 km from Mumbai), when a tractor barged onto the field and churned up the entire pitch.So, what led to this chaos?According to officials, as quoted by PTI, a local politician allegedly drove the tractor onto the pitch and damaged it after being upset about not being invited to the tournament.Officials said the leader – who serves as the Dharangaon municipal council president – was angry with the organisers for not inviting him to the event.A video of the incident, which has since gone viral, shows the man driving the tractor across the playing field, tearing up the surface and leaving the pitch unplayable. Players, organisers, and spectators were left stunned as the situation quickly spiralled.“The council president acted in a fit of rage,” an official said on Sunday.The match was immediately called off due to unsafe playing conditions, raising concerns over security arrangements for teams from Dharangaon and nearby villages.Local police reached the spot promptly and brought the situation under control, the official added.No formal complaint was filed, as organisers chose not to escalate the matter further, the official said.
भोजपुर में आग से झुलसी महिला की मौत हो गई। इलाज के दौरान रविवार को पटना के निजी अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया। मृतका की पहचान नहसी गांव निवासी माया देवी(45) के तौर पर हुई है। घटना गड़हनी थाना क्षेत्र की है। बेटी संध्या कुमारी ने पूर्व के विवाद में गांव के ही उपेंद्र राम, सुपेंद्र राम सहित तीन लोगों पर घर में पेट्रोल छिड़कर आग लगाने का आरोप लगाया है। बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव 2025 में पति बसंत राम अगिआंव सीट से प्रत्याशी थे। वोटर्स पार्टी इंटरनेशनल से चुनाव लड़ा था। जिसकी वजह से माले के उम्मीदवार को नुकसान हुआ था। जिंदा जलाकर मारने की मिली थी धमकी मृतका की बेटी संध्या कुमारी ने बताया कि डेढ़ वर्ष पूर्व आरोपी पक्ष के लोगों से झगड़ा हुआ था। जिसको लेकर प्राथमिकी भी दर्ज कराई गई थी। इस विवाद को लेकर कुछ दिन पहले दोनों बहन का अपहरण करने का प्रयास भी किया गया था। 8 अप्रैल को कोर्ट में तारीख थी। पिता, बहन और भाई भी आरा कोर्ट आए थे। उस समय आरोपी पक्ष ने धमकी देते हुए कहा था कि तुम केस लड़ रहे हैं, तुमलोगों को जिंदा जलाकर मार देंगे। 11 अप्रैल की रात माता-पिता कमरे में सोए थे, लाइट बंद थी। तभी खिड़की तरफ से पेट्रोल छिड़क कर आग लगा दी गई थी। इस दौरान दोनों बुरी तरह झुलस गए। जिसके बाद इलाज के लिए सदर अस्पताल लाया गया था। मां की गंभीर हालत को देखते हुए पटना रेफर कर दिया गया था। जहां उनकी मौत हो गई। पिता का इलाज सदर अस्पताल में चल रहा है।

NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Sunday arrested a senior official of DGCA and a representative of a private company in a bribery case of Rs 2.5 lakhs.According to an official statement, the official was the deputy director general at the airworthiness directorate in directorate general of civil aviation headquarters in New Delhi.“The CBI registered the instant case on 18.04.2026 against an official of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) along with representative of a private company based in New Delhi on allegation that the accused public servant of DGCA demanded undue advantage from the private persons in lieu of issuing approvals and permissions of applications pending with DGCA,” the probing agency saidLater, the central agency also conducted searches at the premises linked to the accused and other private persons at four locations.“Consequently, searches were conducted by CBI at premises of the accused public servant and other private persons at 04 locations in Delhi resulting in seizure of cash worth Rs 37 lakhs, gold and silver coins and multiple digital devices,” the statement reads.According to the statement, the searches resulted in seizure of cash worth Rs 37 Lakhs, gold and silver coins and multiple digital devices.
