A route march was conducted by the police in Bhainsa town of Nirmal district on Monday ahead of the Ganesh idol immersion celebrations scheduled for Tuesday (September 22, 2026).
Nirmal Superintendent of Police (SP) G. Janaki Sharmila and Bhainsa Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) P. Sai Kiran took part in the route march.
The SP visited the Ganesh idol immersion site at Gaddennavagu stream and reviewed the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the event.
She also reviewed security and traffic arrangements along the Ganesh Shobayatra route to be taken on Tuesday.
She appealed to Ganesh pandal organisers and residents of Bhainsa to cooperate with the police to ensure the peaceful conduct of the Ganesh idol immersion ceremony.
