The Ibrahimpatnam police of NTR Commissionerate, who launched a probe into the alleged visa and job fraud, are making efforts to arrest the NRI couple, Jagarlamudi Madhukar and his wife, Anne Rama Nandana, who settled in United Kingdom.

The couple, natives of Guntur, went abroad a few years ago, and gained popularity in social media through a self-operated You Tube channel ā€˜Nandu’s World’. It was alleged that the couple duped the aspirants promising to issue Certificate of Sponsorship (COS), visa and offer jobs in the U.K.

Following a complaint lodged by a victim M. Siva Kranthi Kumar, alleging that the couple, and Madhukar’s father, Mohan Rao, duped him on the pretext of issuing COS, renewal of visa and offering a job in the U.K., the police registered a case in November last year.

Mr. Kumar, in his complaint, said he met Mr. Madhukar, director of ā€˜Destiny Consultancy’, who asked to meet his father, Mohan Rao, in Guntur. As per the directions of the consultancy organisers, he allegedly transferred ₹15 lakh in instalments to various bank accounts.

Later, the victim found that he the COS letter issued to him was fake, and the organisers of the consultancy were not responding, Mr. Kumar alleged.

Meanwhile, it was alleged that the couple had deceived more job aspirants in Telangana, and a case has been registered in Hyderabad, it is learnt. The Ibrahimpatnam police, who sought the cooperation of the Interpol, intensified search for the accused.

ā€œAs of now, we received only one complaint against the NRI couple and Mohan Rao. The accused are absconding,ā€ West Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) N.V.S.K. Durga Rao, told The Hindu on Saturday (June 6, 2026). ā€œPolice are planning to contact their counterparts of the neighbouring States for a thorough investigation,ā€ the ACP said.
