Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister after the 2029 elections, said Minister for Tourism S. Rajesh Kumar in Coimbatore on Thursday (August 13).
Asked about the remarks of TVK Minister Aadhav Arjuna that there should be a Prime Minister from Tamil Nadu, Mr. Rajesh Kumar said it was the opinion of Mr. Arjuna. For the Indian National Congress, which is part of the TVK government in the State, Mr. Gandhi is the Prime Minister candidate. “We are part of the government in Tamil Nadu for the development of the State,” he added.
On tourism, he said the State government was planning to introduce single window system to provide clearances from various departments to develop tourism infrastructure in the State.
