The Shri Vaishya Garima Manch will organise Vaishya Sammelan-2026 in Belagavi on September 6.
This is being done with the aim of uniting the various sub-castes of the Vaishya community and to bring community members spread across the world in different sectors under one platform, Manch members said in Belagavi on Wednesday (September 2).
The foundation day of the manch will also be celebrated that day with the motto ‘Unity, Progress and Respect of Vaishya Samaj’.
Manch State unit president Rohan Juvali told reporters that the conference will be held at the Maratha Mandir near the railway overbridge. The event has been designed to preserve the common heritage, culture and heritage of the Vaishya community and introduce its importance to the next generation. It will also help promote entrepreneurship among the youth of the community. Discussions will be held about creating opportunities for the youth, building a business network, and developing connections among entrepreneurs. Seniors will be requested to mentor the youngsters.
A platform for social welfare will be created where community members can work together in various service sectors including education and health.
Representatives of different types of Vaishya groups like Vaishyavani Samaj, Kannada Vaishya Samaj, Maheshwari Samaj, Gujarati Vaishya Samaj, Agrawal Samaj, Arya Vaishya Samaj, Sindhi Samaj, and others will participate.
National president Shatrughan Shah, general secretary Jitendra Agrawal, office-bearers like retired IPS officer Vijay Kumar Garg Jaya Kishore Prasad, and others will be present.
SVGM State secretary Datta Kanabargi, district president Rajendra Mundada, secretary Ramesh Laddad, Sridhar Shetty, Santosh Wadawa , Pramod Agarwal and others were present at the press meet.
