After Australia won the toss and opted to bowl first, Bangladesh suffered an early setback when Saif Hassan departed for just five runs. However, Tanzid Hasan Tamim counterattacked brilliantly, smashing 54 off 44 balls with seven boundaries and a six to put the Australian bowlers under pressure.
