Intense heatwave-like conditions continued to grip Telangana with all 33 districts in the State recording maximum temperatures above 40°C on Tuesday (April 14, 2026). A total of five locations breached the 43°C mark, while the majority of districts reported temperatures in the range of 42°C to 43°C. Hyderabad recorded the lowest maximum temperature in the State at 40.9°C, according to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS)

Adavi Devula Palli in Nalgonda district emerged as the hottest location, recording a maximum temperature of 43.5°C. This was followed by 43.4°C in Korutla (Jagtial), 43.3°C in Dasturabad (Nirmal) and Bheemgal (Nizamabad) and 43.2°C in Bela (Adilabad).
